Over the past decade, the number of companies that have adopted various cloud solutions has risen exponentially. Recently, however, many of these same companies have also discovered the value of keeping their business-critical data in house in a micro data center. A strategy on where to put business-critical data is vital for organisations; just like you don't place your new sports car under a chestnut tree, you don't place your micro data center in a broom closet. In reality, there are important considerations: who has access to the data? Is the data physically surveilled? It's up to data center professionals to decide.
