Aeven has announced a collaboration with Microsoft Denmark to enhance the landscape of IT service delivery, emphasizing the continuum of cloud capabilities tailored to meet a variety of demands from Danish customers.
With the new collaboration, Aeven will be bridging the gap between traditional on-premises data centers and the expansive Microsoft Azure cloud platform environment. This new operational model will streamline management across diverse environments and offer a flexible commercial approach, adapting to the unique needs of each customer.
"With this collaboration, we see an initiative from Microsoft to invite European companies along on the secure and compliant cloud journey. I believe that, together, we can enable companies in Denmark to address security and compliance issues and at the same time support innovative digital transformations," says Aeven CEO, Henrik Bodskov.
The announcement builds on Microsoft's existing commitments to better support European Cloud providers and provide cloud offerings that meet European sovereign needs in partnership with local trusted infrastructure hosting providers.
Security & innovation
For organizations to stay safe and compliant, a strong security posture is needed across hybrid workloads. Together, Aeven and Microsoft are dedicated to providing their current and future customers with a singular, robust security platform that navigates the complexities of the modern threat landscape. This unified security platform ensures consistent protection, whether on-premises or in the cloud.
Recognizing that security and innovation are not mutually exclusive but rather complementary forces, Aeven and Microsoft's relationship exemplifies how using both can drive value and resilience for their customers in today's dynamic business landscape. Henrik Bodskov: "It should not be a question of either/or. The solution we offer to the concerns is about both-and. Access to both new digital solutions and security and compliance. And so, we are very pleased to work with Microsoft Denmark with the joint objective of improving services for customers on both sides."
Hybrid setup
Aeven is the first Danish hosting company to work with Microsoft in the coming Danish datacenter region. Mette Kaagaard, General Manager for Microsoft Denmark, says: "Our collaboration with Aeven is a reflection of our commitment to provide our customers with secure and sovereign cloud solutions, also in a hybrid setup. We understand the importance of data protection and compliance, and we are dedicated to delivering a continuum of solutions that meet these needs," Mette Kaagaard says.
In the digital age, data sovereignty is a concern for organizations, particularly those operating within strict legal and regulatory frameworks. Recognizing this, Aeven and Microsoft Denmark have placed a strong emphasis on providing Microsoft Cloud for Sovereignty capabilities through their collaboration.
Compliance & Flexibility
With Microsoft's Azure Arc, Aeven can now offer Azure services that not only comply with Danish and European regulations but also provide the flexibility to adapt to global standards. This means that customers can confidently navigate the complexities of international data laws, knowing their cloud solutions are designed for global compliance.
Microsoft Cloud for Sovereignty capability is more than just a service; it's a commitment to the future of secure, compliant, and sovereign IT operations. As organizations face increasing demands for data protection and privacy, Aeven and Microsoft Denmark stand ready to deliver solutions that meet these challenges head-on.
The relationship will mark a substantial strategic shift away from handling on-premises infrastructure solutions and Cloud Native Solutions as separate disciplines towards true adaptive cloud capabilities securing a strong security posture across hybrid workloads, management of hybrid workloads in a unified setup and enablement of digital transformation through modernization of the current landscape and innovation of new platforms.
