First CDCP class in Sweden fully subscribed

It was a ground-breaking event, the very first CDCP training organised in Sweden running at full capacity. Datacenter Forum, in collaboration with EPI, organised the very first CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional) two weeks ago. The training received overwhelming response and praise.

According to Fredrik Lindahl, Manager Nordic Markets at Datacenter Forum, “The response was more than we had expected as we had only six weeks to market the CDCP course. We had spoken to the data centre community and noticed there is a strong desire for global benchmarking and certifications for data centre professionals in Scandinavia. We will continue to address this need in collaboration with EPI for all our upcoming Datacenter Forum events besides researching local, regional and global trends to bring the most relevant and foremost knowledge and information to the Scandinavian data centre industry.”

According to Edward van Leent, Chairman & CEO, EPI Group of Companies, “This marks a new milestone in the Swedish data centre industry.  Many Swedish data centre professionals with years of experience working in the data centre industry indicated the desire and need to validate and upscale their knowledge and do so based on EPI’s globally accredited courses.  This first group of Swedish CDCPs have now first-hand experience on how our course will enable them to discuss, identify and implement improvements in the data centre facility effectively, ultimately leading to higher efficiency and lower risk of downtime. Some of them have already indicated interest to pursue the next level training, the CDCS (Certified Data Centre Specialist) and the exclusive CDCE (Certified Data Centre Expert) thus placing themselves above their peers.”
